The Department of Hotel Management conducts the first of its kind Master Chef Class, where budding chefs from the final year of Hotel Management will showcase one of their signatures every week. The budding chefs are mainly told to showcase on their mother cuisine and even allowed to work on their pastry skills even. Its for all those who are curious to learn and interact with the chef's here.
This is the first batch to experience such a well-planned and organized Masterclass here at Christ University, which was even open for parents and public.
Students who wish to come, see, learn and taste the dish are supposed to block their seats two days in advance by contacting the concerned person. The Masterclass will start from 4:15pm and goes till 5:15pm and the audience or students who come to see are served with tasting portions. The seating is on a first come first serve basis and the doors will close once the studio kitchen is full. Audience even gets a chance to try the dish prepared by the budding chefs so that they can even savor the dishes.
Faculty Coordinator for the Masterclass is Prof Kerwin Savio Negli. We even had Student Coordinators from fourth year and first year respectively.

We even collect the feedback after each masterclass session from the audience so that we get to know the response and how we can improve it for them so that we make them feel comfortable at the masterclass. We witnessed an average crowd of about 50-80 members in Studio kitchen.
